This has been a winter wonderland since December! We all look forward to Spring! Having lived in Highlands full time for 15 years now, I never thought we would have to deal with foreclosures and short sales but unfortunately we have been hit with it as well as the rest of the country. I recently trained and am now a certified short sale/foreclosure specialist or SFR. These type of transactions can be complicated, to say the least, and I urge you to use a trained broker in these transactions. Hopefully, these will be over soon!

As the season approaches.....
I can feel excitement in the air! The crisp mornings and delightful afternoon temps give rise to native hostas,wildflowers and perenniels who have waited so long to peak their heads up once more to view our spectacular town. Cars in town are visible once more and shops and restaurants open their doors to returning visitors.It is a delightful time to be here!

AS far as real estate goes it IS a buyer's market but let me stress we don't do fire sales! When the rest of the country's numbers were off 28-40% in sales we were off 11% counting Cashiers as well. People still want to buy here and we are happy to serve their needs! There are more homes to choose from and therefore we help guide you in the right direction to maximize your investment dollars.
